I have both an iBook G4 and an iMac G5 desktop. Both are running OSX 10.5.8; the terminal OSX for PPC Macs. My Canon PIXMA MP560 went belly up last week. Like almost everything, a repair is at least as expensive as a replacement. BUT, the Canon I brought home as a replacement (PIXMA MX922) requires OSX 10.6.8. My questions are these:
Is there a driver workaround for this, that would let me access the features of the printer?
What Apple drivers might there be that can be used, and how limited are they?

Which printers are compatible with Mac OS X 10.5.8? Hi, There are no HP printers compatible with OS X 10.5 for some years now, the latest supported model was at least 3-4 years ago and probably even before. Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and older Just need to replace old HP PSC 1610 with new all-in-one HP printer for our old desktop Mac G5 OS X 10.5.8.

Failing both of those, what current printers are still OSX 10.5.8 compatible?
Thx!
